Shipping policy
White glove delivery
Our planted pieces are heavy, living and often one of a kind. We never post them or hand them to a courier. Every Statement Botanica piece is delivered by our own studio team as a white glove service.
That means:
- A team of two to three people carries your piece into your home or workspace, not just to the door.
- We place it exactly where you want it and turn the tree so its best side faces the room.
- We take all packaging away with us.
- Every delivery comes with a complimentary moisture meter, and we'll show you how to use it before we leave.
This is a premium service. It's carried out by the people who designed and planted your piece, so it arrives finished and in its place.
Statement Botanica
White glove delivery and placement is free within 20 km of our Leichhardt studio (e.g. Sydney CBD, Bondi, Chatswood, Strathfield, Hurstville).
20 to 45 km (e.g. Hornsby, Castle Hill, Liverpool, Cronulla, Mona Vale): $135 for medium floor pieces, $275 for large floor pieces. One delivery fee per order, set by the largest piece.
Beyond 45 km (e.g. Penrith, Richmond, Gosford, Blue Mountains, Wollongong), and stone pieces over 80 kg: quoted for your address and access.
Made to Order and custom pieces: delivery and placement are included in your quote.
Access
Stairs without a lift, long or narrow carries and tight entries are not included. Tell us about access when you order and we'll quote and confirm it before delivery. If we can't complete a delivery because of access we weren't told about, or need to come back, the extra time is charged.
Table Botanica
Free pickup from our Leichhardt studio, or delivered by our team:
Within 20 km (e.g. Sydney CBD, Bondi, Chatswood, Strathfield, Hurstville): $35, free on orders over $500
20 to 45 km (e.g. Hornsby, Castle Hill, Liverpool, Cronulla, Mona Vale): $65, free on orders over $500. These deliveries go out on set delivery days, and we'll confirm your date after you order.
Beyond 45 km (e.g. Penrith, Richmond, Gosford, Blue Mountains, Wollongong): studio pickup, or contact us for a delivery quote
Table Botanica is never posted.
Vessels
Handmade table vessels ship Australia-wide. Contact us for a shipping quote.
Antique and vintage vessels: delivered within Sydney by arrangement, or freighted interstate on a quote.
Vessels bought with a plant design are delivered and placed by our team, as for Statement Botanica.

Studio pickup
Pickup is free from 4/67 John Street, Leichhardt NSW 2040, Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 4 pm, by appointment. We'll email you when your order is ready. Orders not collected within 14 days are cancelled and refunded less a 10% restocking fee.
When your order arrives
Please check your order on arrival. If anything is damaged, email studio@botanicaobscura.com.au within 48 hours with photos and we'll assess it with you. See our Refund Policy for details. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
