Queensland Bottle Tree + Vintage Limestone Planter

This is one of the largest specimens currently in our studio. A native Australian Brachychiton rupestris, it features a heavy, sculptural trunk and a prominent exposed caudex—the water-storing base that will continue to thicken and bottle as the tree ages.

We’ve paired this mature tree with a circular, hand-chiselled vintage limestone vessel and finished the arrangement with a low-growing Deuterocohnia mound and a clean, zeolite top-dressing.

Select your drainage preference at checkout. We offer this piece pre-sealed and watertight or traditionally drilled with sandstone feet and a base plate.

Position in direct, bright light. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Expect a natural leaf drop during cooler months followed by fresh growth as the season warms.
