Ficus Audrey + Solstice Orb Planter

A mature Ficus Audrey, compact in scale, with twisting aerial roots that give the tree a sculptural form. Black lava stone covers the surface, with coral staging stones set to balance the line of the roots.

Audrey is a form of banyan. In the wild, those same roots reach the ground and thicken into new trunks, until one tree spreads into what looks like a grove.

It sits in our Solstice Orb, a lightweight concrete planter. Place it on a plinth, by a staircase or beside a pair of chairs, or on a sheltered balcony out of harsh direct sun.
