Fockea Edulis + Onyx Bowl Table Planter

A Fockea with a gnarled, swollen base that sits above the soil like a weathered stone, sending out fine, twining stems.

It comes from the dry country of South Africa, where it stores water in that swollen base through long dry seasons. It grows very slowly, so even a small plant like this has real age.

It sits in a rough-cut onyx bowl, the raw stone a natural match for the gnarled base. A collector’s piece for a shelf, desk or side table in your brightest spot.
