Velvet Philodendron + Glazed Black Hand-Thrown Fluted Ceramic Urn

A philodendron with large, heart-shaped leaves of deep velvet green traced with pale veins.

Native to Colombia, it grows from a creeping rhizome along the forest floor, so new leaves emerge one by one, each larger than the last.

It is planted in a hand-thrown fluted ceramic urn with a glazed black finish, the gloss setting off the velvet of the leaves. Place it on a side table or shelf out of direct sun.
