Queensland Bottle Tree Forest Trio + Round Limestone Planter

Three Queensland Bottle Trees, each wired and shaped in our studio, are planted together as a small forest. Their swollen trunks lean and curve in different directions, like a grove grown in the wild.

Bottle Trees are native to the dry scrublands of inland Queensland, where their trunks store water to carry them through long droughts.

As they age, the trunks slowly thicken, giving the forest more character each year.

Planted in a wide, round limestone planter, it is happiest in bright light, indirect or direct.

Specifications

Height: 2100 mm
Width: 1250 mm

Light & Care

Light: Bright indirect or direct
Care: Easy. Water deeply, then let the mix dry right through. The trunk stores water, so it forgives a missed week. Bottle trees can be partly deciduous, dropping some or all of their leaves in winter or after a dry spell; they return in spring.
