Queensland Bottle Tree + Lunar Drift Planter

This single, slender Queensland Bottle Tree sits in our Lunar Drift planter in Gris. A tall, straight trunk rises to a small, delicate canopy, making it a refined choice for placing against a wall.

Like a tall floor lamp or a piece of art, it draws the eye upward and gives a quiet corner a sense of height. The soft grey terracotta sits easily with pale timber, linen and stone.

In the wild, the bottle tree grows only in the dry inland scrub of Queensland. Some of the oldest have stood on the same ridges for well over a century, their trunks swelling slowly with each passing year.

It is happiest in bright light, indirect or direct.

Specifications
Height: 1900 mm
Width: 550 mm
Depth: 500 mm

Light & Care
Light: Bright indirect or direct
Care: Easy. Water deeply, then let the mix dry right through. The trunk stores water, so it forgives a missed week. Bottle trees can be partly deciduous, dropping some or all of their leaves in winter or after a dry spell; they return in spring.
