Queensland Bottle Tree + Mid-Century Concrete Bowl
A Queensland Bottle Tree with a gnarled, exposed base, set in a vintage mid-century concrete bowl. The low, open bowl leaves the whole trunk on show.
Bottle trees grow slowly, so a base with this much character has taken many years to form.
An occasional piece, like a good side chair, it adds quiet character to a room without needing to be the centre of it. It does best close to a large window.
Specifications
Height: 1800 mm
Width: 800 mm
Depth: 700 mm
Light & Care
Light: Bright indirect or direct
Care: Easy. Water deeply, then let the mix dry right through. The trunk stores water, so it forgives a missed week. Bottle trees can be partly deciduous, dropping some or all of their leaves in winter or after a dry spell; they return in spring.
