Queensland Bottle Tree + Solstice Planter

A Queensland Bottle Tree with a bottle-shaped trunk balanced beneath a compact crown.

Native to the dry hillsides of central Queensland, the bottle tree stores water in its swollen trunk, which thickens and becomes more sculptural with age.

Its small antique white Solstice planter is low and wide, in lightweight concrete. Place it on a side table, sideboard or kitchen bench in your brightest spot.

Light & Care

Light: Bright indirect or direct
Care: Easy. Water deeply, then let the mix dry right through. The trunk stores water, so it forgives a missed week. Bottle trees can be partly deciduous, dropping some or all of their leaves in winter or after a dry spell; they return in spring.

Every piece is planted directly into its vessel by our studio, so it arrives complete and ready to place.
