Queensland Bottle Tree + Tall Terracotta Vessel

A Queensland Bottle Tree, gently wired so the trunk rises in a soft, organic curve. The tall, narrow terracotta vessel looks as if it were shaped by fingers, natural and slightly uneven.

In inland Queensland, the swollen trunk holds water through long dry spells, which is how the tree got its name.

Made for tight spots, it brings greenery and a little intrigue to the space beside a desk or a quiet corner. It does best close to a large window.

Specifications

Height: 1800 mm
Width: 650 mm
Depth: 450 mm

Light & Care

Light: Bright indirect or direct
Care: Easy. Water deeply, then let the mix dry right through. The trunk stores water, so it forgives a missed week. Bottle trees can be partly deciduous, dropping some or all of their leaves in winter or after a dry spell; they return in spring.
