Queensland Bottle Tree + Vintage Limestone Planter, Small

A tall Queensland Bottle Tree with a strong trunk and a lofty canopy.

Native to the dry hillsides of central Queensland, the bottle tree stores water in its swollen trunk, which thickens and becomes more sculptural with age.

It is planted in a small vintage limestone planter, its weathered, one-of-a-kind stone carrying decades of patina. Place it on a sturdy plinth or low console in bright light.

Specifications

Height: 1320 mm
Width: 600 mm

Light & Care

Light: Bright indirect or direct
Care: Easy. Water deeply, then let the mix dry right through. The trunk stores water, so it forgives a missed week. Bottle trees can be partly deciduous, dropping some or all of their leaves in winter or after a dry spell; they return in spring.
