This arrangement pairs the lush, oversized foliage of a Schefflera Amate with the heavy, storied texture of a Vintage Kembangan pot. It’s a versatile piece that brings a sense of scale and a bit of a tropical feel to a bright corner without being high-maintenance.

The vessel itself has a practical history, originally used for food storage in rural Indonesian homes. Hand-formed from terracotta and finished with a weathered cement wash, it features a unique scalloped rim that softens its rugged, textured exterior. We’ve selected this multi-stemmed Amate specifically for its upright habit, which balances the rounded, sculptural weight of the pot.

Notes & Care

Thrives in bright, indirect light but is quite forgiving in lower-light spots. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings.
